Yes. Been years since I did anything with it. I got some stuff from PA archives. There is a distant cousin who is currently more actively researching. Someday I will get back into it. Maybe more info will surface by then. Much easier as stuff finds its way to the internet.
Yes. Pennsylvania published the Colonial Archives series. I've looked through that for militia enlistments. I don't recall any indexing - just have to look through every one that is possible. The Associator and then militia systems were a little archane. Trussel's book on the Pennsylvania Line is useful if you're looking for which regiment came from what counties.
A lot of information on the Pennsylvania Regiments. If you know which one the person was in you make a pretty good guess about where they served, what they wore, and so forth.
