Hi, anyone install a back glass on 69 notchback cuda? Just got vinyl top and headliner done need front and back windshield put on and I do want to try installing the back glass myself , any tips on type of sealant the gasket and the glass or it just too difficult to do, thanks in advance

I paid a glass guy to do mine ! cost me $100 for windshield and $100 for back glass.
No headache , No worries @ broken Glass.
Well worth every Penny !!!

I've done the notchback rear glass R&R a couple of times. Myself and other members here had the same issue... top of gasket doesn't want to lay properly to the headliner. Solution for me was to put the glass in the gasket from top down. Of course sitting the bottom of the glass in first was a heck of a lot easier than working against gravity but the finish was bad.
I had wondered why factory service manuals say to install glasses from top down. Now we know.

Seal and set gasket into pinchweld first and work the glass in from top to bottom?
