It's Turbo Tuesday! Good morning.
A little bit of payback this morning.
Awakened by the sound of ready mix concrete truck and a concrete pump at 7:15.:icon_fU:
I'm sure I got that same friendly gesture many times when I was dispatching ready mix .

What is RFS? Real ford site?
Racing Fuel Systems. forum

From Pennsylvania?
Yes. Been years since I did anything with it. I got some stuff from PA archives. There is a distant cousin who is currently more actively researching. Someday I will get back into it. Maybe more info will surface by then. Much easier as stuff finds its way to the internet.

My Barracuda from the factory went to the dealer in Bound Brook, NJ, a famous Washington camp...or so I've read..
Close anyway.
Bound Brook is a small town - I can't picture the Plymouth dealership but that doesn't mean anything. It probably was on Main Street.
Floods a lot. More flood control measures went in a few years ago.

Yes. Pennsylvania published the Colonial Archives series. I've looked through that for militia enlistments. I don't recall any indexing - just have to look through every one that is possible. The Associator and then militia systems were a little archane. Trussel's book on the Pennsylvania Line is useful if you're looking for which regiment came from what counties.
A lot of information on the Pennsylvania Regiments. If you know which one the person was in you make a pretty good guess about where they served, what they wore, and so forth.

Quick fly by...

My youngest son and I started building a 360 to swap into his 68 Valiant 4 door... :steering:

We're prepping the block now and hopefully will be ready to install the pistons by this weekend...

Work may get hectic real quick, our branch in Indy got hit by a tornado this weekend and us and three other warehouses are gonna have to cover their orders until they can get the damage repaired and back up and running... Since we are the second largest warehouse in the corporation, we will most likely get alot of that work... I'm wondering if they will add more trucks to our already busy schedule... :BangHead:

Now that sounds like fun  Take out every piece of non-essential vinyl, aluminum, steel, pot metal, and carpet. Steelies all the way round. Nothing poking through the hood. Some nice quiet turbo mufflers with cut-outs .

Simple job turns into an all day thing. HHR control arm bushings. Locked on bolt, bolt pushes captive nut out of retainer and then i have to fight it out. Welded nut to frame and got it apart. Driver’s side is buried amongst fuel and brake lines, steering column and transmission. No way i can get in to weld.

Bolmer Motor Car Company...yes an old car company.
Went out of business in the 1990's and the building was later torn down.

Always something to fix :soapbox:
Wife was going to mow the yard yesterday and it won’t start. :BangHead:
Checked it this morning...Lines and filter not blocked. But no fuel to carb. Ordered a pump. Should have it Friday. The pump itself would be a very simple job. But looks like I need to remove the cover shell around engine. Lots of screws. :mob:

Yeah...I feel ya. MY icemaker quit, not sure if it need a water valve or circuit board yet. Garage door opener on the house garage hasnt worked for a while. Need to fix that. Good news tho. I didnt open the pool this year....

I won. Took a wide air chisel bit and ground a v into it and rattled against bushing while spraying water around bolt nut and bushing. Had to wedge vise grips in and grab bushing.bolt finally let go. So happy i didnt break the nut loose.
Couple hour job turned into 6. And an hour or two tomorrow. Found thumping anti-sway bar bushings.

Installed Nuespeed anti sway bar on my 2015 VW golf, Sportwagen. sold the Blue VW and bought a white Sport wagen...Higher trim level, all around a nicer car..
