Okay, I didn't install in my shop or garage, I installed these in my laundry room.

My wife is out of town, and I thought I would surprise her by renovating our laundry room, which it desperately needed. So I painted, built some counters, installed some cabinets, etc. One of the bigger improvements was lighting. Lights before were just a few light bulbs and I wanted to step it up a few notches. So I went looking and found these lights.

I am here to tell you, I think these things are GREAT!

As part of the kit you get:
  • 6 x LED T8 Fixtures
  • 6 x Power Cords with ON/OFF Switch(59 inches)
  • 6 x Installation Accessories
  • 4 x Connector Cables(20 inches)
  • 6 x Small Connectors
  • 6 x Power Hard wire

You can connect these things together on one switch or separate or in any combination. You get 6 - 8ft bulbs and all the cords. They can be either plugged in with the included plug or hardwired to a switch. Installing is as simple as installing a few little clips per light. VERY EASY. I installed mine inside the joists so the fixtures wouldn't be as visible.

No fluorescent buzz, instant on, no need to stock extra bulbs and inexpensive to operate.

I plan to install them in my garage before long as well.

Well look at you go , let us know if you get brownie points ! ........( thanx for the tip on the lights)...... fixing up that laundry room :)

My son just did our whole garage. 24 in the front half and 18 where we paint. He also did the complete upstairs and the street lights are now LED.They are three times brighter. This lowered the electric bill over $100.00 this month. My son got them all through Amazon Prime.

I love the new LED, 8footers in my garage, but heads up! The wife doesn't like the white light of the higher powered LEDs. So in the house only the lower powered "yellow" LEDs for her. This is only for those who wish to remain married.

I have some of those led’s as well.
Only thing, when connected together, i found as they heat/cool they will move in the clips and occasionally disconnect.

As I replace light fixtures &/or ceiling fans throughout the house, I replace them with LEDs. We haven't noticed a difference in the electrical bill because I replace them as needed.

I relamped my shop a bit back.....125 new 4 foot LED tubes.....got 12 spares on hand at the minute...makes all the difference in the world in my opinion...they are very affordable now.

I did my shop awhile back, I have the 7 foot florescent, I ordered my LED's from Amazon. I got the kind that you need to remove the ballast, was quite expensive for the bulbs, cant remember exactly, anyhow what people don't realize is its not only the bulbs that consume power but also the ballast, I could see the drop in my power bill. Have I really saved any money?? Not sure I have since had 2 out of the 10 7 ft LEDs fail and bought replacements. I do really like the brightness of them and the fact that they come on instantly when its cold as a witches tit outside.

I have my fixtures suspended on chain, I ran my lighting power to overhead utility boxes with duplex outlets. With the new tubes, I bought single end power style tubes by Sunnine, the weight of the unit with the ballasts remove is remarkably light...I had many texture to upgrade...utilized all my original tombstones....can modify a four tube fixture from start to finish in 15-20 minutes depending on what I am having to work around in the shop. I highly recommend them for the light, simplicity and power saving.

Joey, were you ever able to get the lights installed in your garage? Still like them? I’m looking to wire/light my 40x60x14 shop in the next couple months and am researching lights.

yes - and my basement shop too - love em

I bought these same lights for my garage recently. The other cool feature is they're less than the width of a 2x4. I ran two connected in 16' lengths alternating every other rafter. When I turn the lights on now It's like the sun came out!!! I promise you these are the best and brightest lights I've ever had in a garage and cheap too!!!

Yeah I think I’m gonna buy me some of these lights. I found a lot of 20 4 footers for $240. That should be plenty for my 40x60 shop
