I knew someone that knew what the hell they were talking about would chime in Sounds like whoever told OP the 386 number was right. I'm curious to see what his fender tag shows.Sport hardtop is a fastback. 386 340-4 barrel automatics. 30 Formula S coupes. This one doesn't look like a S though.

I don't know if anyone can read the fender tag. I have a ***** of a time and can't tell a few of them. I am not scraping the paint off.
