Stop in for a drink.

Evening guys. I am about scalded. Had a bad day that ended pretty good. CHEERS!
My day was mostly normal until I discovered that the stone work guys had rolled up all the sod they removed and left it under the far end of the deck.

Then I beat the snot out of myself pulling it out and laying down 40 sg ft of it around the new stone work. Thankfully, my wife helped or I wouldn’t have gotten it done. I’m still beat up from the weekend work.

At least I salvaged it before it rotted under the deck uselessly.

My evening was a bit odd, I had a couple nice toddies made up a nice plate of munchies and settled in to watch what promises to be a great game 7 of Stanley Cup. Could not find the game, searched all the channels to no avail. I worked all weekend and had my days screwed up. Game is tonight.

Bad day, good day. My John Deere got tangled up with a stump. I replaced the blades but I bent the deck where the bearing plated bolt in. Good for me I have old tool customers that built a tool to fix that. $40 later and I'm back in business.

Did the same thing ! No tool , trial and error to fix it . I did come up with another set of training wheels for the rear of the deck, helps a bunch !! I since have ran over a piece of rebar, no bent blades, just notched up , resharpened and balanced, still striping like one side is lower than the other !

I should do the Cracked mod to my Swinger. Let us know how it goes and works.
Night driving has changed dramatically! Headlight relays perform fantastic and the LED upgrades make the dash pop again.

One of the TF cars in large letters carried a message that stuck with me for quite a while.
"Miller Beer Sucks" I was underage anyway. I got over it eventually.

I remember that thanks for the memories Bob. The good old days.

Since Budweiser bought out Miller, we get the slogan/song again on T V a lot around here sometimes .
I always wanted a neon Miller hi life sign, and bid on one on ebay, but have already been outbid. Not going to pay too much for one , need a few things for my fish> more important.
