Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have a 5 gal can of the old school toxic carb cleaner from 30 yrs ago. So strong that it ate the original metal container. So I put it in a heavy duty plastic 5 gal pail. So I went to soak a Holley carb last week, and had to fish out the original basket, in pieces.....ordered a new basket, online........

Ehh, if the stuff was really any good, you wouldn’t have found the basket.

I was really short on time before work, so decided to remind myself why I rarely go to McDonald’s for anything but sausage egg McMuffin. Got a (not very) Big Mac, fries and a small vanilla milkshake. Gave him a $10 bill and got .79 change back. :wtf:. I believe a small shake used to be an even substitution for a soda. Now it’s $1.20 upgrade. :BangHead:
I don’t think you can make hamburgers any thinner an still hold together in a ‘patty’. And what a f’n mess! Then there’s the feeling you get in your gut 10 minutes later. I can only imagine is how one would feel if they swallowed a bucket of slugs.

One of the local classic car clubs had an ice cream social at Baskin Robins last night. The VP invited the wife and I down to meet some of the members. Some nice folks.

Time out and a participation trophy.
My union didn't put up with that ****. Be very likely he get his card pulled for 6 months. No cardie .. No workie.
State Union so regardless he will only get a slap on the wrist.
At the minimum, I’d be secretly packing...
Packing what? Your bags? Isn’t this a school campus?
Exactly, MN State Public College. Bad idea, even though I can tell you that at least a half dozen of us in the Maintenance dept have our Conceal.

So the offending employee called me at the end of the day and asked for tomorrow off. Said he has to go to a doctor apt, that he can not miss. Im starting to wonder if its for medication for himself

Either way, be careful

Spent afternoon getting one of my guys patched up. Twenty some odd stitches later we are back to work. Nasty cut on palm. Self inflicted. Was not wearing appropriate PPE.

Old co-worker of mine worked for a different rock farm in LA Basin. One of his co-workers had an accident cutting a conveyor belt with one of these

so they banned them company wide. They decided these

were better for the same purpose and mandated their use. Shortly after one of their repairmen was on his way to the hospital after deeply burying his "approved" tool in his thigh. :wtf: were they thinking?

I don’t care for that stuff.can’t stand the smell.A couple hours in a pail of pine-sol and water and its good to go.

My yard mowed, returned son’s mower. And cut his grass. Too heavy for my 7,000 lb trailer. Nearly broke the ramp.
Could see it bending.
So no more moving mower over here.
Until my dump trailer is done. Now out for ice cream.

Well, it looks like the new grass is finally getting established. The second over-seed hasn’t sprouted yet and that should fill in the thin spots.

Those pavers look great. There's a pattern to them but in a random fashion.
These guys are truly masters at their craft. There is some repeating pattern on large block areas like 6’x6’, but even that they break up a little on each pattern so it doesn’t quite repeat overall.

I give them a lot of credit for that kind of mastery.
