I have a recently rebuilt 46RH (Could be an RE) transmission that was used in a '70 Barracuda for a short time. The owner swapped to a 5 speed manual and pulled this trans out. It has been rebuilt with 618 internals designed for Cummins diesel trucks. It has a 10" 3000 stall LOCKUP converter.
The trans was used with an aluminum 3G 6.4 Hemi and comes with the SFI approved 8 bolt Hemi flexplate and hardware. Wiring for operation is included but this transmission needs a stand alone controller to operate the overdrive and lockup functions.
It has the deep pan which is standard with the 518/46 series models.

The transmission functioned perfectly. Owner got busy with a home remodel and asked me to take it to use or sell. I considered it for my Charger but I too decided to go with a 5 speed manual.
$800. May consider partial trades. Below is a list of items I would consider .
1970 Charger LEFT Fender and front valance.
73-76 A body 8 1/4" axle with 3.21 or 3.55 gears.
8 3/4" 3rd members, 2.94, 3.23 or 3.55 ratios.
Transmission is in Northern CA.
$800 in cash or suitable trade.
I will deliver up to 150 miles if price is met.

The tailshaft extension housing was notched at the reinforcement ribs for crossmember clearance.

A member informed me that this is probably a 46RE, not an RH. I apologize if I am incorrect. I am not very familiar with these 4 speed transmissions.
I'm told a way to identify the difference is the amount of wires at the terminals. Please see pictures to see if this is the transmission that you need.

It may not matter much but the trans was in the car below. If you know the car, you might know the owner.

I Really want to sell this thing. It is taking up space and I don't want to scrap it if someone can use it. Someone give me $400 for this dang transmission!

I’m still interested but would have to see if the “E” would work for me. Might be able to work something out before it comes to scraping

How well do you think this would fit in a 68 Barracuda notchback? Are these pretty large transmissions? We are building a stroker for my sons car and an overdrive might be nice.

Won't work unless you put a manual valve body in it.

so what kind of controller does it need?

that sure would be nice in my express truck.
The story I heard was that you can go one of 2 ways: The manual valve body or the aftermarket controller. The guy that I got the trans from said he had an MSD controller but sold it.

How about THIS?
Come and get this thing and give me a measly $200.
Yes, I mean it. TWO hundred dollars and you can have this thing. You could even make it $100 and a table dance with a fat lady. I don't care.
I don't want to scrap it but I have no use for it and would like it gone.

I don't mean to be rude, but shipping would require getting a pallet, transporting it to some depot, time that I don't really have to spare for awhile.
