Here’s a block you don’t see everyday

as said above lots of folks just run a ford size reamer into worn chevy lifter bores, a little brake cylinder hone and use FORD lifters
however bore alignment ends up all over the place and there goes you cam timing
why not ream to MOPAR size lifters in your chevy?
Because you have to narrow some cam lobes- some do this but you have to be in a cheating class to make it worth it
can't do that with a MOPAR
and to do MOPAR right requires some expensive tooling that aligns the lifters with the crank to cam centerlines
and sometimes you have to realign the cam tunnel (after you've done the line bore)
so just reaming and driving in sleeves can be done cheap and would work on a leaking small cam build (might be cheaper to find a different block)
doing it right is expensive
used to have .005 oversize lifters available which could be honed to fit
