I was 13 when their first show aired in 1966. Several of the neighborhood kids gathered at my house to watch it. That pretty much became a weekly routine. For my 14'th birthday, I got a Monkees swimming suit, and tickets to their concert at Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis. Yeah, I was a fan.
