Preparing to move....

Update for those who do and don't care...lol

Finally ratified a contract on the sale of our place yesterday. Contingency would have expired tomorrow on the go-to home we're buying. Back to back settlements set for July 19. We'll put the camper at a campground 40 min from the new house the day before, and sleep there for a few nights until we have the bedrooms and kitchen all set up.

We are going from this that has done us well for 20 years.....

Breathe and stretch out... already getting to know the guy who owns the hill and the 2 acres next to us. When that 2 acres goes up for sale, I'll have 1st dibs.

You'll be near my old stomping ground. I grew up in Waynesboro PA, about 20 miles west of Gettysburg. Used to help a guy sell frozen shrimp out of a truck in Westminster. Also drove through there on the way to Baltimore and Washington.

Nice, quiet area.

I built my shop in '94...actually bought a 5,000 sq. ft. pole building, disassembled 1800 sq. ft., and moved it 25 miles to my city lot. Sold the rest.

Told my bride I will never move...

Speaking of winter.... I bought a big snowblower 3 weeks ago for my new super long driveway. Got a smoking deal on it. I'll keep the little 2 stroke unit for our 11yr old to learn on. We can have races.

You better get a small tractor with a mower deck.....LOL Congrats on the move! Nice that it wasn't too painful.

Already have one on reserve....
I sold of my tractor and bought a Zero Turn Mower.
I now cut my grass in half the time it took with the tractor.
Best money I ever spent, allows me more time to cruz in the old Barracuda

I should b home packing the last of the garage and shed this weekend.... movers come on Thursday the 18th .

But nooooooooo - I'll be in Carlisle Fri/Sat..... LOL

Been in the new place for 1 month. Jake brought my Shelby Dakota to me 2 weeks ago. Today I went and retrieved the 68. Just pushed them to the sides of the garage for now. Next step is building a shed for the lawn/power equipment, and extending /widening the driveway. Then I can start setting the garage up.

You'll get there! Hope no big snags with move.
