Get a load a this!(slant 6 with a hole)

I had a 351 Cleveland break a piston and the rod bent enough to leave the cylinder (after taking a chunk of the bottom cylinder wall with it) and it was making an aweful racket. The rod was whipping around beating the oil pan every revolution. I pulled over after crossing 2 lanes of traffic and found the oil pool growing under the car, but the motor was still running, I had to turn it off. Something was peaking out of the pan hole and I grabbed it and pulled it out. It was the rod cap. I saw a slant idling on propane on a stand with no oil pan at a car show, it was a vendor for that oil additive that was so hyped back in the 90's...It was idling happily at 600 RPM with not a care in the world (or weird noises) with no oil pressure. Saw a Chevy straight six doing the same demo at another car show. Solid lifters.....
