Wind came up, its cooling off.
Another job off the yard.
And more work showed up. Im not gaining.
Bucket seats showed up for the el camino. Way too freakin big.
A days work to make them fit. If they will fit.
 
It turned into a nice afternoon so I decided to uncover and fire up the ‘66. Crap, dead battery and it won’t take a charge. :BangHead:

Oh well, went and got a new one and fired it up. 3 cranks and vrooom! Running like a champ!

Nothing real tempting on the out of town racing schedules this weekend. Too late to leave for the wing sprints at Ocean in Watsonville. About 4 hours away if I remember right. Lose a lot of Miller Time :lol:
 
Just took a break and going out to build the engine some more....

We are about ready to install the crank.... :D
 
Joey made me a How-To Section Editor so I can do a how to build a small block engine series on this build... :D :thankyou:

Who cares if it starts first pull, ya just gotta love that color! I found my next work truck today. It is about time to dump a leased one.

So Demon is finally off the rack getting ready for the long awaited trip to paint! For you guys that build for a living the attached pix might seem lame. But for a just hobby guy that takes a couple years to get to this point it was a big deal. To see her on the ground and out of the rack was huge! Work bench is positioned to roll out the door first rain stoppage! And into the trailered we go! Oddly enough I already have the color picked out! Hah!

I also collect these magnets and I would like to know if you could trade one of these Nova magnet for another magnet you don't have? I have many duplicates available.

All buttoned back up. I will run her at least once a week until Tim comes and gets her. He brought me a car in good running condition and I intend to give it back to him the same way.
