Hello! I am new to the Mopar community after purchasing a 1969 Dart Swinger. The car came with a rear bench seat and front bucket seats. The buckets I have in the car have slider rails installed that DEFINITELY do NOT fit the mounting pattern of the car. From my measurements, I have the mounting holes in the floor at 12-1/2" x 12-1/2" for the buckets. The rails on my seat have holes that measure out to 15" x 15".
Does anyone have any information on brackets I need to fit the rails to this car or if this was even an option on these cars? I have seen other slider rail kits for a few hundred dollars a piece and would prefer not to purchase something I already have....
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

also any one who can help me understand how to upload images.....that would be sweet!

Welcome to FABO. I can't help you with the seat tracks but I can with the photos. Click on the "upload photos" button next to the "post reply" button you used to post your reply. Choose the file and photo from your computers photo file and double click on it. You will see a thumbnail of the image. Then click post reply again.

Those are definitely not OEM tracks. The seats don't look familiar either.

Mine was converted to bucket seats from bench with seats and tracks from a non matching car before I got it. Nothing wrong with that if you are not going for a OEM restoration, and it is done well and safely.

Original seat tracks are very pricey, maybe $200-300. I opted to leave mine the way they were and spend the money on something else. Just depends on what you want and how deep your pockets are.

I had the same problem with my 69 Dart. It had it's original bench seats in the front just before I bought the car, then a young guy grabbed it before I could get the cash together. Right after he bought it I bought it off of him..He had drilled eight holes in the floor and put the ugliest blue buckets in the front that I've ever seen. They had no backs on them so the springs and burlap were there to see for people in the back seat. I hunted down some benches on ebay and now have mismatched coloured black and white front and back bench seats again but that doesn't matter one bit because it's going to be reupholstered..Editing this after a day with a picture I found showing those ugly seats...the backs are even worse..Why a guy puts those in instead of leaving the white benches installed is beyond my brain powers to figure out

In the event that anyone is still seeing this thread, the B Body bucket seat slider rail kit from I believe it was Mopar Plus, does fit in the 1969 Dart I have after moving one of the mounting bolts!

Those are definitely not 69 Dart seat tracks or bucket seats. Here is what the seats and tracks should look like. You can buy new tracks.

I could not find tracks no matter what I searched for. And I wasn’t aware that these aren’t the right seats however, they fit with the brackets and I kind of like them so I’ll leave them for now. Thanks for the information though!

I know you can buy new, correct seat tracks from Year One because I considered ordering from to replace my old ones. I have just not pulled the trigger on that yet.
