Those 300 sixes were very torquey. In the bottom end.

Well the awning repair/replace people just showed up.....again. I will be sure to take this one down if I even THINK the winds going to blow, and I'll tilt it.....duh : )

I’m not quite sure who you’re referring too?
Oh you figured it didn'tya.

There's nothing more I could do there to get his attenshun focused. Maybe now he'll pay attention to what you wrote. He started two threads asking for help but completely ignoring the responses. Then started a third looking to get someone else to do it. And now is still at square one since he didn't follow a single suggestion anyone made.

Lol I at least TRY to follow suggestions haha

IMO both are overpriced.
The yellow with slanty is possibly the better deal - depending on what's under the paint! Surface rust spot vs. patching is the key.

The other seems to be yet another case of thinking that spending money on gadgets and modifications you think are cool will make the car more valuable to other people.

There's a market for 'pro-touring' and 'street mods' but IMO it has to be done well, and requires some understanding of the market to get your money back, never mind money and time.

Be cool to have an emergency wind speed sensor that triggers a retraction motor.

So here is my absolute favorite picture of the Demon so far. Loaded up strapped down and heading to paint! Next chapter is the inevitable delays at painters and multiple promises of it will be ready next week. I do love all you painters out there but you are all bat poop crazy! To many fumes! Hah. Notice my front yard of not corn. To wet went beans!

I like wagons in Dart, Chevy II, Falcon class. Those behemoths are just not my style. I already have a truck.
Miss the Falcon my folks had for a while. super rare now. 2 door, 3 on the tree 6, crank down rear window. Nice flat metal bed - more so with the back seat folded down. Good looking and good for haulin all sorts of stuff.

I'll say this for big wagons, we a NJ state (ie fleet purchase w/ spot light, you get the picture) Ford mid 80s wagon at school/camp I worked at one summer. Pretty good car. :) I wouldn't turn one down if one ever showed up.

Yeah, but by the time it detects the gust...the awning is destroyed.
Right. Only would work if speeds picked up gradually. Although I suppose some sort of PID controller to pick up increasing gusts could be employed but that's getting complicated.
