Stop in for a cup of coffee

Miss the Falcon my folks had for a while. super rare now. 2 door, 3 on the tree 6, crank down rear window. Nice flat metal bed - more so with the back seat folded down. Good looking and good for haulin all sorts of stuff.

I'll say this for big wagons, we a NJ state (ie fleet purchase w/ spot light, you get the picture) Ford mid 80s wagon at school/camp I worked at one summer. Pretty good car. :) I wouldn't turn one down if one ever showed up.

My dad liked BIG cars. Mostly Lincolns that I can remember until the '57 Ranch Wagon 2 door showed up. then there was the '63 Merc Colony Park Wagon, rumored to be the largest passenger car Ford had built at the time. What a beast that thing was, probably weighed in at 4000-4500 lbs. That '57 2 door wagon was pretty cool though.

So here is my absolute favorite picture of the Demon so far. Loaded up strapped down and heading to paint! Next chapter is the inevitable delays at painters and multiple promises of it will be ready next week. I do love all you painters out there but you are all bat poop crazy! To many fumes! Hah. Notice my front yard of not corn. To wet went beans!

I like it! You gotta be excited about that. Mine goes Tuesday, no idea of how long it will be.

That wing, it's a gull? I need to figure out what's correct for my 71 Duster, want to put one on eventually.

Painter has not committed to a completion date, I am good with that tho. I want it done nice and not rushed. Literally the only pressure is created in between my own ears. It just needs to be done by next year Mopars in the Park show. We are all jacked up to get it painted. Been a two year effort to get to this point.

What's the color going to be?

Unfortunately the odds are unless you leave before 6 am or after 9 am, you’ll be dealing with it. Right now almost all the interstates other than I70 are restricted in some capacity due to construction
Well this stop is on our way home which is why I'm looking west of the city. We might just scout a spot when we go out to Carlisle.
Might just end up in a truck stop and sleeping in the truck,

Which means you need it back by fall so you can put it back together in time.

Hey everyone. Made it back home safe and sound. 80 degrees feels like AC now, so I have that going for me. Feels good to be back. 73 hours in this week including travel today. Will be a nice check. Maybe my 6pack intake will be a wash now....

Well I can say at 2:27 CST I officially completed the need to do list for the Barracuda.
It was a 14 month project of countless hours with my good neighbor Tom whom I'll always be indebted to.
Lots of phone calls chasing parts, refurbishing parts, sending parts out for restoration, etc...you've all been there done that.
Lots of time laying there in bed at night thinking about what I needed to do, or how I was going to do it.
I finally learned it's a simplistic process and with patience and time it WILL all work out.
And of course special thanks to my bride for allowing me to do all I wanted with this special MOPAR, NEVER questioning what we were doing or what I spent.
And of course thanks to each and every one of you here. Your a very special group who answered any question I had, and given me valuable MOPAR/car knowledge I would of never gotten any where else.
Now I will enjoy my very stout vodka/orange G-Zero!!
