1965 dart GT dash panel removal

Is it necessary to remove the wiper and headlight switches from the dash panel?

Ah yes, forgot about them. They do go through the bezel and through the dash

Thanks for the quick reply, i had heard somewhere about some screws that come in from the rear near the radio, if these aren't removed it it breaks the radio bezel. is that the case here?
By the way, the steering column is out to replace the coupler inards.

IIRC the only thing holding the radio bezel to the dash is the first set of nuts on the radio shafts. If there is anything on the back side, it might be a couple of PAL nuts. You might be thinking of the screws that secure the HVAC controls to the dash frame which should not need to be removed. The far right dash bezel has the PAL nuts on the back side as well.
