So bottom line what do you think it's going to run? Before a consistent 13.9?The MT's are 26" tire on the back of my Duster. With 2.76 gears, I'll join your cross country race
- I HATE this term, but I'll say it. I consider my 360 "basically" stock. Stock heads, stock dished pistons, stock rods, crank. Cam is LESS than a stock 360 4bbl, so I still consider that "stock" (or worse.. lol). I do have a 750 DP Holley sitting on a Eddy RPM intake which I don't think that would out perform a TQ/Cast intake on this engine. So, I consider my 360 stock. What ya all say?

13.5's would be no problem on a average summer day. May do better

What's the plan to get it down to 12.9?
I'll get at least 3 tenths from home ported heads (or the magnums I have), and at least 2 tenths from a touch bigger cam, and I'd still like to try 3.23's, which should be another 2.5. That's 12.75 ?? IF I go with an aftermarket converter, should be 12.4's

12.4's... I'd say a little more than a touch bigger on the cam...
maybe, but the math makes sense? 2 tenths from a cam swap to me would be about 10* more duration and .030 more lift. That would put me at 214 @ 050 for duration and around .460 lift. That's small, even for a street cam

Agree. And not only that, when you have your motor/tranny in the car and ready, we'll have to find a Saturday that's NOT a special event and not rained out. LOL.... but we could canoe race anytime, a river right by my house
Maybe with all this rain my pretzel will straighten back out. lol

One thing about this race, no time slip required because Jaba and I are going head to head, first one to the big end without red lighting wins!!!!!

It was a kid with the 392 Scat Pack Challenger. It had drag radials and some unlocked Hellcat features or something like that. It was my first time at the drag strip with those Nitto 555's and I was building my confidence with them. They work pretty good and I feel I'll get a lot better launches from them in the future..
Next time out I'll be working on my 60ft. Those Nitto Tires are sticky...
woke up to drizzle.... looks like it will do that off and on all day... what else is new? LOL. Unusual amount of rains this year....
