Hi. My name is Steve & I live in NE Wisconsin. I recently purchased a '68 Cuda notchback. This is my first A body although I've had numerous Mopars over the years. My latest was a '65 Belevedere with a 4 bbl 440 & torqueflite trans. Very fast but too much car for me. I don't need that kind of power at my age. I'm content to have a mini muscle car with some scoot in it. I'm joining mostly for info on various aspects of my car. Greetings.

Nice collection. Love those early B Bodies. Welcome to FABO

Looks in great shape! Notchback Barracuda's always look so good in B5 blue and it's almost a shame to not run rallye wheels on them. Such a nice combo.

Please post some more photos from inside and out if you get time and welcome to the FABO board.

Welcome. You will find a wealth of knowledge here, about almost anything. And sometimes more than you want to know.
Love the photos!

Welcome aboard, fellow cheesehead! Nice notch! I'm in Central WI.

Welcome, good looking B body and a nice '68! More info on the notchback?
Car was originally from Washington State (no salt). I found it in northern Minnesota from a mopar enthusiast who did much of the work restoring it. Motor is a professionally built 340 from a '71 Cuda. Bored .060 over with a balanced crank & mucho modified high compression heads & a high lift cam. Also has Hooker headers & a Carter AVS 625 carb on an Edelbrock manifold. Previous owner claims 450 HP but I'm not so sure. It's definitely north of 400 though. 727 Torqueflite trans with floor shifter & 8-3/4" Suregrip rear end. All new front end components including steering, upper A arms & disc brakes. All new interior except headliner. Mechanically, this car is well sorted out. The paint is another story. There are lots of runs & orange peel in it & he attempted to wet sand it out but just made it worse. I'm going to try buffing it out so it looks good from 20 feet away. After all, it's a driver, not a show car. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Neck snapping performance in a small package. I think I'll keep this one.
