Stop in for a cup of coffee

So there is this guy at work, he has a 49 Chebby p/u. He’s been hounding me to enter the Duster in a local show. He’s new to the area and didn’t want to go alone. So I agreed if for no other reason to see his truck in person. It looks pretty darn nice in the pictures. Anyway, the show is open to all makes and models but is put on by a local Camaro club. This should be interesting. Going to take the jalopy and slum the place down a little.

I can just see it now, he won't bring the truck....

Morning everyone, another day of floating in Iowa.
Darn rain won't quit, now raccoons are coming to house looking for a dry place, spent an hour around midnight trying to chase one off that was digging at house.

Got to get ready for Cowboy Church over in oak hill.
My friend Jesse wants to go,he is dying from cancer.
Sucks getting older all your friends start passing away...
See y'all later.

Morning Lon!

I have "batter boards" now (I guess they're called). Hoping to see a concrete truck this coming week.

Hopefully yours will come up as fast...

China and US in a trade war. They trading tariffs back and forth. But so far in the last 6 months, there’s been a dozen Fortune 500 companies they are US based , break ground on new factories in the United States and are shifting production back to the US. Including Chrysler, who’s building a 1.8 billion dollar factory in Detroit and closing one in China and Another in Mexico. Ford is doing similar.
A lot has been in the works for some time since transportation costs started looking like a long term trend taking a chunk of the costs.

Hey Lon, did you catch my remote trunk video? 22 views. I am hoping to get a check from You Tube soon!

Been raining here all night. I can hear the creek running which doesn't happen too often.
No worries our side of the creek has a 20 foot bank.
Goes over that and we have problems.

My creek is only a few feet... It's usually dry, but flows when it rains...

But there's a huge hill that it runs down, so we never get flooded... :D

Ya good vid, now you can get me a beer with getting your but out of your chair.

Good way to get more votes at car shows, when someone is looking at car just pop trunk and say have I beer . Lol

Hey Karl. I want to officially congratulate you on your new position here at FABO. Can we call you "Chief"

"Chief" starts with a "C"...

King starts with a "K" and would keep my "K" theme going.... :D

Plus as they say, it's good to be king....

Yep. Had to follow this closely as part of my MBA program. It’s a reversal of trends. The shipping costs were still cheaper than US labor, especially after Obamacare, HOWEVER, now with the increase in tariffs, the changes thus far to Obamacare as well as the new trade deals being in the works, the pendulum has swung back.
