How Much Do Window Screens Impede Ventilation and Sunshine?

I don't see why window screens wouldn't get clogged up just the same

If it's in the budget, put new screens in and see if the air flow doesn't improve over the old ones

Not sure how much he needs a furnace in Mexico... but it's all about cross ventilation. Replace those screens...I lived in a rental years ago that had really small mesh screens... not much sir moved thru them
