1970 340 short block for sale. The motor is .020 over and has speed pro 9.5:1 cast pistons. I do not remember if the steel crank needed to be turned, this was done 8-9 years ago, so you will have to forgive my failing memory. The motor has new cam bearings and brass freeze plugs installed. I have a set of X heads and J heads that can go with the motor, also have a 4 bbl. manifold for it also. The heads will need to be gone through. The VIN on the block is 0R162955. The cast date is 6-2-69. I can ship this through Fastenal, can also deliver it to Carlisle if you're going. Will separate the block and heads and manifold if you want. PM me with any questions. Yeah sorry about that. Not trying to jerk you around, but I keep getting jerked around by guys that say they want the whole package, then back out a couple of days later or longer. Waiting to hear back from one more guy, wouldn't have thought a 340 would be such a pain to sell...
 
do you have any other parts like oil pan valve covers timing cover ? can I call you? and how far are from dayton ?

Phone number removed by staff. anytime after 2:30. I do have a timing cover and some valve covers, but the covers are rough. I'm about 2-2 1/2 hours from Dayton. Thanks Scott
