HellooooooFABO!

My paint scheme for my 7 FB will mimic the sox and martin car and I found a car on the intertube that was orange and black that had the same pattern....about a year ago. I cannot find it for the life of me now . I spent an hour last night pouring over you tube. I believe it was called BIG ORANGE. The footage of it was at a dragstrip I believe in the south, nothing that long, just a minute or two of maybe two pulls. I guess the owner could have pulled the video off the net but I feel like it would be hard to get all still shots to disappear. It was a 7-9 barracuda FB and probably was an 8 or a 7.....but probably and 8. So, In search of an orange and black 67-69 barracuda FB, with paint that mimics the sox and martin car with the one stripe on the hood. Im not sure if it had the "paneling" on the side as I think it just said BIG ORANGE or ORANGE KING or something. But it definately had the hood stripe and the tapered paint from the roof down the deck lid.

I know its a little wierd, but I need as much inspiration to get this project up and moving again.

Im trying to figure out the track by the phone numbers on the tower wall. But Ill be dammed if I cannot find a video of this car. Not sure why Im so obsessed, its not like I cant see a vid of the sox and martin car....

edit.......man I know there is a clip of this car....why is it suddenly so hard to find.

Probably need to get an 8 year old to find it. I'm 64. Not much on " confuzer, ( computer) stuff.
These youngns' make it look easy , but I haven't found one yet that even know how to change a flat tire. Let alone even work on a car.
But every damn one of 'em. Would be in the running for. "Fastest thumbs in the West" hhhhaaaaaaa .................
 
Try looking the owner up in division 2 with his number 284, the number carries over between IHRA & NHRA.
 
If you search Youtube for "Buffalo Dragway Big Orange" a number of videos of this car should appear for your viewing enjoyment.
 
Im hoping to get some paint on mine soon. Im going with stock hood for now. It will be interesting to see what I can pull off. Thanks again. Your ride is perfect!
