I’m going out to buy this duster can someone let me know what the value of it is ? It’s a 1970 duster with a 225 and a 3speed I’m getting a 318 and a 4 speed with it. It’s clean runs and drives I’m paying 5500 for everything

Go to town on it, a clean body with a good paint job is worth a lot right there. Nice it's already got the shifter in the floor setup for the 4 speed with the correct column. Bucket seats nice too, even though not correct. That will make you a nice car with the 318 V8 in it. The 70's have the decent looking front and rear without the big energy absorbing bumpers. Does not take long to get 10,000 wrapped up in it by the time you get it completed and you will have a decent car when it's done.

I'd look it over carefully, especially the rear frame and shackle hangers. If it's solid, you have a good deal there.

If it is solid & the engine & transmission are original to the car, I could enjoy it just as it is. Not many cars make it this long with those intact.

Selling the 4-speed for gas money would be fine with me too.
