I've thought about that. I built this 8-10 years ago.. I used latch-hook backer for it, but it does look out of scale, too thick and straight. I'm thinking some twine, or maybe kite string, lay it down on some wax paper, weaving it. Then coat with some watered down elmers white glue enough bind it. Lay it up on the door frame, spray it with a bit of water to give it a little bend, let it dry. Take it off, paint it with some acrylic flat black, trim, put it in from the inside of the body.
