Where did you find s forecast fo 2.5 weeks out? They are lucky to hit it right for 2.5 days. Anything that far away is likely based on history/averages not actual forecasting.
And whatever the actual temp predicted for that day, add 5-10* for the ground temp at the fair grounds with all the cars and people running around plus it being like a giant parking lot with little shade.
