The City said YES!!

However many electrical outlets you think you want, double it (and put 220 at both ends)
Think about putting light switches by every door.
I wish I'd put some sort of a socket/receiver in the floor (or 2 or 3) where I could insert a post for mounting tools (vise, ring roller, bender, etc.) - I've seen a couple on garage journal where someone did that
I also wish I'd gotten the expansion joints filled with epoxy - it's a pain getting floor jacks / cherry pickers/ wheel dollies over the cracks
Also, 10' bigger than I went... ;-)
I had them put HVAC in...that was great (and it's better insulated than the house is, so not that expensive to run)
One side is also tall enough for a lift
And there's a deep sink - it's nice to be able to wash up before going in the house (but, if you don't use it for a while, remember to run some water - if you leave it long enough for the water in the P-trap to evaporate, you'll walk in one day wondering why the garage smells like a sewer ;-)
