Rim suggestion

Exactly!!!

I put 70k miles on my '72 Challenger with a mild 318 in it, pretty much stock except for an intake, 4 barrel carb and headers. With a set of 3.23's out pack it was plenty fun, and I drove it year round without any issues at all. Now, my Duster with it's ~400 hp 340 is a lot faster, but it's also been a ton more work and money to get it there and have it be a reliable daily driver too.

Everyone has their preference. I'd rather have tires that perform half decent than 15's, because all the tires for those are either hockey pucks, drag radials, or track only. And no one "absolutely has to" go with 17's, but it sounds like that's what the OP wants to do so why not post something useful for him instead of trying to convince him to do what you like instead?
There are 33 posts including yours and everyone has a different opinion or suggestion. But yet you feel the need to call me out and tell me to "post something useful"? I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything I'm just voicing my opinion just like the other 33 posts! So until you get your forum police badge dont tell me how to post!
