Carlisle Chrysler Nationals Carlisle, PA

X2 I almost passed out there 2 years ago, bought a lemonade in the fairgrounds, it was super sweet, about 15 minutes later, I had to sit down fast, almost fell over.
It was hot, normally all I drink there is Gatorade, but I ran out and bought the lemonade, it must have been the heat and sugar in the drink.
I bring a small cooler with a few G2s and water to start. But FYI, the band booster foodstand behind/under grandstand where all the tables are has Gatorade

Yup. Gotta watch yourself. Wife is diabetic. Gotta keep an eye on her when we go to swap meets and any other extended activity.
That super sweet lemonade was probably a shock to your body. Something" new" it wasn't used to.
Think of your body as your car. You probably would not pour ice water into the radiator if it was ovheating. Good chance of cracking a head. Same with your body. Just. Sayn'.........

Myself , if it ain't snowing or pouring down rain, then I'm good.
Anyhow....
I just hope all attendees have a good / safe time.
Btw - got my "sticker" in the mail. M-18. Not M-17.
Stop by and say hi. Aaaaallllllwwwwwaaayysss ..have COLD. adult beverages on hand if anyone is so inclined.........

Ice water will make your head crack?
Although a good slurp on a slushie can make it feel like it cracked. LOL

Gatorade or really any of those things should be cut with water 50% or more when in the field.

Just a thought.....
Stopped by Dollar store and got some colored construction paper.
Made these up real quick.
Thought maybe could be placed on swap meet spot or wherever.
Would let others know what "group(s) " you belong to.
Different colors for each "group"
I chose "Pink" for a bodies because. 2 of the wife's sisters died from breast cancer.
As a kinda "newbie" to the Mopar world, l thought it would be a bit easier to spot like members.
I will have the FABO one on my spot. M-18.
What ya think?

That is a good ideal, especially with the one for the FABO tag with your user name. I recognize different user names, but this way, it can be a means to let other members know your at that spot.

Don't forget to go to the Thurs. Evening MOPAR only car cruise down the street from the Event grounds. The Cruise In is at the Carlisle Expo Center from around 4 pm - till night fall. Free and a great time.

I don’t have nearly as much to get ready and I’m about to put everything else on hold. Just seems there always something... My wife told me yesterday that my son and girlfriend may come out visit that weekend :BangHead:. I just said Ok, you know where I will be. She said yep, they will probably be here when you get home. Alex has wanted to get to Carlisle too, so maybe they will stop there. It’s on the way between their place and mine. Haven’t talked to him yet

If anyone is going and has a 3:23 Sure grip pig , In GOOD shape, I would be interested in buying it...

Chances are, someone will have one there.
Might sound funky / stupid. But doesn't hurt to place a sign around your neck stating what you want.
I see it all the time. Works too. Neighbor of mine needed some Ford 390 stuff. I told him what to do.
Found it within 30 minutes at Charlotte. He looked all day the day before. Walked right past a guy that had what he wanted but it wasn't out in plain sight.
Went back the next day with sign...... Bingo.
If you feel like a fool walking around with a sign on your back , so be it.
Might have a better chance of getting what you are looking for if you did tho......
Just my 1 1/2 cents worth.
