340 cam specs?
Are the 4bbl 318/360 pkgs from '77-88 the same E58 cam?
I'd heard that but now have serious doubts about it.
Web info only here, but think its basically correct.
318 4 bbl ELE Police package came with cam p/n 4227879
and that might be different than the 318 option E48.
I don't have or know of truck or car references for the newer stuff.
Possibly there are truck and FMR or Police car websites with factory info. ???

Larry Shepard's book lists that cam as 80-86 318 w/4BBL

and some of the on-line Chrysler dealers show it as '84 - 89 318 diplomat

List in larry's book is prob same as in DC speed bulletin and Speed Secrets books.
In any event it does show a 360 4 bbl cam, 4041998, having similar lift and duration to the earlier 340/360 cams.
