Hood torsion rods.

I've done a search, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, I remember seeing it somewhere...How to replace the hood torsion rods and install gas struts, 1965 Barracuda. Was it here on the forum? If so, does someone know where? Thanks.
 
I thought torsion rods were for the trunk and hood springs and hood brackets were what allowed the front hood to open and close? Am I missing something?
 
I (and at least several others) have done the hood strut conversion. I’ve documented how I did it on my 65 wagon to sedan delivery thread. Here’s some pics:

I’m not sure hiw the last 2 pictures got attached; one of them appears to be one of the calipers on my 8.75 disc conversion!
