Got headrests I need to get off bench seat. I know that have some notches on them, but what do I need to do to get them off!?

Not that I know your rests are but some are like this.....
If you curve some shim stock around the post you might be able to slide it down the post between the notch and latch to hold it open. Some outfit makes the tool.

Actually this is a 79 Volare . I changed over to buckets, I had to just pull the headrests and the tracks, and get rid of good seats, but I have another Volare a wagon that is missing the headrests.
Not many Mopar guys local in Tx and even fewer into F bodies.
I will see if if I can get them off without cutting the seat backs, someone my contact me before they leave. I don't have room to store these seats. I hate tossing another thing!

I checked mine (75) and they just slide out once you get to the point where they stop it's a little force but they come out.
I got them out, There was a little clip that slid out with them. They will get poked into the bench on the Volare wagon that was missing them!

Ha, the back porch is a deck about 6 x 1,8 no roof Those seats are history!!
