I'm looking for either a NOS or very good original front license plate bracket to fit my 1970 Duster 340.

There is no bracket. Just two push in plastic grommets for the screws and one rubber bumper in the center. I never had any Dusters with a bracket in Pa., NJ., NY., Md. If there is one I never saw it anywhere. I have rear brackets.

Mine come from the factory the same as oldmans photo. No frame and I have never seen one, except for after market.

I have seen a metal bracket that was supposedly for a Duster that mounted on the front bumper. I didn't get a part number but it was NOS. I allowed the front plate to be perpendicular to the ground and not slanted as it is when mounted on the bumper otherwise.

I gotta agree with Steve.....never seen or heard of a front bumper bracket for a Duster. If there is such a thing for a 70-71 Duster, it's an odd bird!

I had never heard of one either. I didn't have a chance to hold it up to my bumper. The parts book doesn't list anything either. I just installed the plate onto the bumper.

No bracket got from original owner bolts to bumper just like the man said
