Just read it. Man, all this time I thought he was fighting against British taxes. Maybe one and the same!
So the local liquor store was closing (due to health reasons). I stopped by on the last day and spoke to the owner. He said in Michigan you cant sell below the state minimum. He said it was OK to gift liquor, just not sell it. So he made a gift of some good stuff and I made a contribution to his retirement account.
Gave $500 for $2000 of select.

So maybe this eclectic conglomeration of connoisseurs is the correct assembly to help me out. About 10 years ago the diplomatic attache to Mexico sent me a bottle of the best tequila I ever had. Even straight and warm it went down like water. I thought I remembered 100 anjos but the stuff I find like that is low grade. Any idea what it might have been? Signed, Lost in a memory.

Well I made it up to Freds, you could not get anymore BFE. Got to look at his car in paint shop and another FABO members car who's name completely escapes me at present. I totally temper the car and him just not his name! In my defense Fred and I started pretty early on the Crown! PS don't let Fred fool ya, the man can cook! We are like kings and drank like pirates! I did make his 29 look better tho with a dash of Sublime! We had a blast

Glad you made it home safe John and I had a great time visiting and finding out we lived in the same towns at the same time and never ran into each other. Need to do it again and get some of these other guys over here.
