It's 1978, dads a few years out of Nam, doing the career Army thing. He got'em a 70 Duster to go racing with. Gutted it, modded it and funds would allow (Army pay). He'd flat tow it with his 70 Challenger. I was at the races every time!

Just wanted to share.

Thanks for sharing.
I bet you have many good memories with your Dad at the races.

This post is awesome! Can you send me those pics? I can clean them up a bit if you send me the digitals you have.

These are really cool pictures . I cannot believe all the weight he removed. He was definitely serious about going faster.

Please tell us you have more pictures .What did it run if you know? And who's has it now?

Love the pics thanks for sharing the story. Thank you for your Dads service. I have much respect for nam veterans.

WOW! Glad y'all enjoyed the pictures and thanks for the comments. My dad did 2.5 years of combat in Nam when I was born. The car was sold to a local speed shop in Lawton, OK in 79 and we move back to Germany. I have no Idea where the car is now.

Sorry y'all....I don't remember the time slips and don't have any more pictures of the car. Wish I did thou.

RSie, that's nice of you to offer your service to clean the photos up. I want to make some better scans of them and I'll get back with you. I'll gladly pay for you to fix them up.
