may go to a new home

Checked into that and other solutions some time ago and the feed back I got from members on here was that a hydraulic would be just as hard to push plus wasn't willing to do the work. Never thought this would happen but I have lost interest in this car I have a 72 C10 yes I know all about owning a GM but I really like it plus old age is kicking in liking the slower pace and being that grumpy old man

I'm really diggin on the truck. So sorry for your health woes. I am having them too and wouldn't wish them on anyone. Don't disappear just cause you gotta Chevy. I think it's cool.

Thanks I really like the truck especially in my advanced slower years just a stock 350 automatic with vintage air I think it has made me loose interest for now in my A body

A new toy never hurts anyone. I firmly believe this: If we stop dreaming, we start dying. No matter our age either.

Real car guy like all things automotive, does not mean anyone has to hate on GM or Ford or whatever.

I like your "parts" vehicle. Could see that with a 360 and manual trans...nobody would expect that.
We, also went with an older truck for more fun.but it's a granny low 4-speed.should be able to get the wife to drive it once or twice.sge did better the first time out on my D50 than I did on my dad's wagon. she also drove my crew cab dually home from church...hmm,did she marry me to drive my trucks?no, but she would not mind having about 75% of them we see at the weekly car show.

Not a thing wrong with changing directions. Just don't give up on it.

Your probably onto something there a real POS that you would thumb nose at until you look close that's were my liking has ventured off to -- maybe stay in inventory -- who knows -- possible more modern motor way out of the norm -- if it sticks around long enough my mojo would probably kick back in

When I get this home going to try and get it running and drivable so I can take it to a local snobby cruise in on the 13th we're in a resort big $$ town that has it's clicks this grumpy old man doesn't qualify for when zooming in on the Valiant looks like the quarters ++ are toast so it would be perfect for the cruise in
