Not for Mopar but any guesses.

Why it is still in my tool box I am not sure. I did see one of these cars on Ga. 400 last year though.

This is for '60's Mustangs. On front suspension, it is wedged between the pinch weld on the frame and the upper control arm near the ball joint. This allows the upper control arm and spring to remain stationary while you replace the upper ball joints or work on spindle and lower control arm.
 
Well...hard to say guy, you on a dedicated Mopar site speaking of in-depth knowledge of a brand x car...your brand loyalty may come into question...:poke:

On the right track but incorrect.
 
Is it the tool to set the ride height correctly to do the alignment? I remember seeing in the shop manual that you wedge something between the control arm and subframe to set the alignment, although that never made sense to me, because wouldn't you want to align the car at the height where it normally rides?
