512Stroker, yes the cam # 30200740 (Grind # VS50-VS52-110) I'm really happy with it. Lunati describes it as "Excellent hot street/strip cam with great torque and HP from low to high end." And they rate the power band 2400-6600, but it pulls pretty good from 2000-2200 or so, makes it very liveable on the street. I'm using a PTC 2500 converter which is working well. More stall might make it quicker off the line of course, but this is a nice street set-up.

900-1000 is good for idle speed too. Autos can be finicky. The bigger deal is what is the drop when put in gear. If it's 50-100, you are good to go. If rpm drops 250+ you have issues somewhere.

Thanks, and yes, I'm pretty sure the idle drop is in the 50-100 range.
