Ok gang, before I lose my hair and my patience looking for where I put this damn thing, I’m looking to buy a lower shifter pivot bracket for a console shifted 66 Cuda with 904 and an auto trans. This is the bracket that mounts to the tailshaft of the trans and holds the shifter pivot rod in place at the bottom.

Here’s a pic of what I’m looking for. I need it to have the bushing and clip also, just like the one in the pic. I know there’s different sizes and shapes, the one I need is 5 3/4” long, and the drop is about 1 1/2”. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks people, Geof

I've bought that new from mancini... Can't find a link on line though... Try calling them... I believe that it's standard for all console shift applications...

Newer 1s use a rubber bushing. I have never had that clip/retainer on any of my cars. I’ve had consol cars since the late 70s. E bay usually has lots. Kim

This bracket is from my 66 Cuda, and it is going into the 66 Signet I’m working on. I have one for each car, but I’ll be damned if I can find the one from the Valiant. I’m going to use the one from the Cuda, but that leaves me looking for the one I misplaced when it comes time to put the motor back in that. Thought I would break with tradition and start looking for one now instead of waiting till the last minute, as usual!
