Carb and intake suggestions

Good thinking. Do it with a full tank of gas! That there will be your max weight and that is something that is good to know. You can add up the gallons of gas and minus that weight on race day. Now, what you tell the converter company is up to you!
My car is still in the process of being put back together after a nut and bolt rebuild. It has had nearly everything replaced that could be, short of the body as it was very rust free, having had the drops done before we purchased the car many years ago.

Chromoly tubular ladder bar rear as well as chromoly tubular independant front with rack steering. While I do realize weight is a big deal with respect to setting it up for performance, I really just want a realiable street car.

I bought this car nearly 20 years ago for my then 4 year old son. 2 years later, I bought another 69 Dart GT for my youngest son so both of my boys could have matching cars that fit their personalities. The car that I am building is my oldest son's car and is being built to honor him. July 4, 2015, he was taken from us violently. This has become my therapy over the past 4 years and as we reassemble the car, I just want it to be a reliable car that will hit cruise nights and a trip now and then down a track.

I appreciate everyone's suggestions.
