Pleasant surprise.. it IS a 340.
Finally got this engine pulled out of my Cuda that's been wasting away in the corner of my garage the last 10 years. I was told it was a 340, but was skeptical.
To my very inexperienced eye though, I would think 340-4 stamped on the block would say it's a 340. Please tell me if I'm wrong, or anything else you can add to the numbers on it.
