Possible flooding issue 1920 holley

1972 dodge dart, 225 slant 6, stock everything as far as i know.

Little long but wanted to give as much detail as i could.

Now that i have an overheating issue solved (new water pump, thermostat, and radiator) i was able to take the car further away from home to see if it would overheat. it didnt so i think i got that solved. Onto the next problem. I stopped at a friends farm to bs with him yesterday morning, he wasn't home so i tried turning around in his driveway/lane. Its on a pretty decent grade and when i tried to pull away the car stalled. I cranked on it for about 10 seconds and it fired up roughly then idled like normal, tried to pull up the driveway again and it stalled. I ended up backing down to a level spot in his side yard and got a little run for the driveway and it went. Up to this point I had been driving on pretty much flat roads or if I had to climb a hill it was at 45-50 mph. It downshifted a few times flawlessly to get me up the hill with my foot pushing good on the throttle. Never had a problem or stutter. Also never really had to start off on a hill.

When i got home i tried foot breaking a burnout without the burnout and the car would die. Same thing, crank it for about 10 seconds and it would fire up roughly and then idle fine. While in park I revved it hard and it popped once but revved good. Did it again and it hesitated a half second but revved fine.

This car sat for about 10 years and i never rebuilt the carb. I have put about 130 miles on it since i got it running in may and haven't had a problem til now.
