right after we lost 3rd round today it poured and I mean poured down on us. Thank God we started at 11am today instead of the usual 3-4pm. 90 degree day and pushing 4000 foot corrected altitude

Man are you guys takin' a beatin' back east. Looks like it rains 4 out of 7 day a week.

We are in a late afternoon pattern with these dog gone pop up storms. And although small tornadoes we are way above average. I would love to know what our wind speed was in today’s storm because my 3/4 Ton dodge diesel truck hooked up to my 26 foot loader car Trailer was really rocking. And the jack was still down.

Damn ! Been having pop-up thunder showers here in NC last few days. 5+inches of rain in an hour nite before last.
Hope it clears up this weekend.
Going from Carlisle to Western NY then back to NC. (Via l-79) on Sunday.

I’ve lived in PA all my life (63) years and have never been to Carlisle.

I had to disagree, looks like real crappy weather.

Hopefully it is through for a week or two!

That first picture looks like it's taken from the front windshield of a Class A motorhome...

64 years old here. Been dirt trackn' since '73.
Went to Spring Carlisle probably in '78 or so. Never been to Chrysler Nats.
Kinda getting into the old Mopars now. Figured be good place to hit.
John,
This could be the year.

You all should come to the show and stop by A9-A10. It's no fun talking to myself, and people look at me funny. Well....more than normal anyway.
I'll have the Trick Flow stuff again, some T&D rockers, FBO ignition, PRW, as well as some other stuff. I'd love to meet you guys in person, so if you can, come out to the show.

I think it was two years ago? Here at woodburn dragstrip it did the same thing, but I believe much earlier in the season. They took it in stride and said jet ski time trials at noon...lol...

Lots of dragstrips in old fields..

I looked at the first post and was about to say "Welcome to our track"......

The thing that hurts is the track owners take it in the shorts way after the storm is over. That much water and the track takes weeks to dry out. I believe Keystone put drains not to long ago down the 1/4 mile sides of the track.
Been watching youn's guys on you tube,Keystone Raceway does a nice job.

It sucks for the racers as well. Here when they get back to racing they will double up to make up races and Revenue. Which means only two practice passes and a VERY crowded track..

Greg made a post today saying that by time the rain quit yesterday it was all drained away. And yes they did do a lot of work on their drainage system. He said the track will get a good bath and be ready to go Friday night. Weather looks a lot better this week

You need to be adaptable man.
No air boat drags? :D

A few buddies and I all had RC airplanes, and when it was raining we swapped the motors and controls into out air boats.

Don't wear yourself out Friday evening. You've got to get up early Saturday for the trip to Carlisle, right?:D

Hmmmmm let me think about this. Racing or Carlisle. Lol. As much as I would like to finger a set of Trick Flow heads I know if I bought them it would led to more work for me because no way are they going on at 190cc. I’m hoping they take some of the hand gringing out for me and come out with a 210-220 offering.
