This is why I won't buy a FBBO gold membership

The couple of Harleys I have now I feel different about but in 1973 I had a 72 sporster . I put drag pipes on it . Back in the 70's anything loud that sounded Cam'd up was cool. So like said they sounded faster then they were, Turned heads and like Corvettes with header side pipes they would turn heads in a crowd. So they did boost your ego if you had one.

I also owned a Firebird 400 4spd. But it was a 67. I used to see how many gears I could shift before it would start to move. My friend Bruce loaned me his tires off of his Chevelle for a night. He never offered them to me again. Yeah those were the days.

Gary Schwieker had a hemi auto R/T in 1973 , 69 white with red stripe. It ended up being the give away car at Carlisle. but it was a clone he still had the original body as a drag car. I had a tan 69 R/T 440 six pack dealer installed new. Gene and Franks auto body in Allentown Had More bad news 68 pail yellow R/T Hemi Auto. A-town Hustlers

I remember sitting at the drive in side by side. That was a sight. Yes we did run. The 68 all I saw was Tail lights. The Hemi 69 I beat him the first time. Once he put Headers, Gears , and slicks on that car. It was tailights the whole way also.

I found out later that the 68 had a nitrous kit, Back then you never heard of that being used much. Wish I would have known about it. If only I would have kept and took care of some of those cars. But I was a street racer and it was all about making money. I started slowing down in the 80's when I got married. I sold one B-body per kid and the rest for braces and College. Should have stayed single longer I guess. But I wouldn't trade my Grand children for anything.
