Was the AFB ever used on the Crysler 300 392 hemi engines? I thought only the WCFB was used. Thank in advance for the information!!!

No AFB's. What I have seen recently is a '56 Hemi with dual WCFB's that was running bad because of carb issues. Sent out carbs to a well respected builder and came back with the same problem. Sent carbs to another well respected builder and came back with the same problem ( doesn't say much for well respected builders, does it?). The solution? The shop put AFB's on it and it ran great!

That's what I was thinking. A friend just bought a single 4 Imperial 392. He's thinking of either running a dual four set up(wouldn't be an original set up), or he scored the Weiand WC3D with the engine. Doesn't look to have ever been used. Anyway, he went looking on the intetwebs. Some threads on the HAMB, I think, were saying AFB in 58. I called bullshit. So, with a little help from people here, I'm sure we'll figure it out, lol! Thanks!
