Odd rods were a kinda rip-off on the Roth rat fink style. The same thing happened when a dozen other artists started doing similar styles to Peter Max a few years earlier.
Roth had a very distinctive style that others tried to copy...but only produced faint copies of the true style.
I have studied his work extensively and this is about as close as I can get to his work...

Very cool. Had many as a kid. They were drawn by artist/musician bob taylor in the big daddy style for donruss.
