Is a '69 AMX considered a mopar A-body?

No harm/ no foul here. In answer to your thread title and first post, AMC never was a Mopar except for Jeep and a small relationship with Renault. AMC was also never a A Body Mopar either. Also. The AMC 390 had nothing to do with Ford's 390 and the AMC 360 had nothing to do with Mopar's 360. Rambler had a 327 but it shared nothing with the Chevy 327 other than the cubic inches. AMC borrowed many pieces from other manufacturers like transmissions, rear ends, electrical components and the like. They didn't have very good manufacturing capabilities especially in the end. They were struggling and it was cheaper to buy components than it was to design and manufacture their own. I'm done here.
