Is a '69 AMX considered a mopar A-body?

It will have the corporate 20 rear end, commonly called a AMC 20, they favor a Mopar 8.25 only back plate is completely round. The dogleg heads are the best flowing AMC heads to have, the 390 didn't have them. There are plenty of parts still out there engine wise, mostly in jeep wagoneers and international pickup's and travelalls. The 400 international engine is really a AMC 401 and most had 727 Chrysler transmissions. The 390 and 401 are forged steel cranks, the 360 and 304 are cast cranks. The AMC 727 and 998 which is a 904 Chrysler will not interchange with Mopar they have a AMC case and different bolt pattern. Body and interior parts are the hardest parts to find for AMC's.
