Fresh Air Door
What ma mopar gave us is a barn door on a bird house.
So I ask same question every time this topic comes up...
If there was a replacement panel that attaches with screws, and that panel had a vent in it similar to the dash vents in newer vehicles, you could regulate and direct the air flow, and there was also a washable filter behind it to hold dust, pine needles, etc., in the bird house... would you buy it?
I always wondered if I was alone in getting blasted with debris that fills up behind the "fresh" air door...
I bought some aquarium (fish tank) filter foam and cut it to fit behind the door. The mesh is big enough that there is still air flowing, albeit not as much. But it does a pretty good job of keeping leaves and sticks and other debris from blowing around the interior and grossing me out. And by nature it's meant to be washed and cleaned for fish tank purposes so it can be removed, and put back again and again.
