One of my best friends son asked me if he could fish in my pond. He caught a bunch fish mainly
brim. Here's a picture of one of them.

That's a bluegill and a nice one. I love to fish but never have any luck.

Don’t get me started on fishing...LOL!

Sure

Here's a cat I pulled out of my pond this afternoon (tossed it back, to catch it again later)

Oh my...can't count the number of wilderness canoe trips we've made chasing lake trout and brook trout.
In my old age i broke down last august and spent 7 days fully guided on the Sutton River with a life long friend and Albert Chookamoulin at his camp on Hawley Lake..Paradise!

My 10 year old granddaughter came to visit Friday and is going home Monday. This is her first time to come and stay without my daughter since she lives 3 hours away. She has been driving my Ranger and today I took her fishing and she caught 6 bass and two bream. Making memories that I hope last long after I am gone, Joe

Got 16 foot tin boat motor(25 hp merc) and trailer ast year from a friend $1000. Was neglected for 3 -4 years. Put new water pump in the merc. Put a new complete axle in trailer. Cuda took a dump with damn electrical issues so I redid wood floors in boat and spent summer fishing lol. Was out last week with 2 buddies. First fish of the year and 1st time on this lake. We got 13 total for the boat Plan on spending a lot of time in it this year lol.
Best $$ I've spent in a while.

Nice fish everybody!!

Here’s a channel cat I caught a month or two back. Brought him home and stuck him in my small farm pond to help get the overpopulated sunfish under control.

I love fishing. But really enjoy watching my kids catch fish! Haven't gotten out much recently now that they're working and heading away to school. When they were little we'd fish all day and night catching all kinds of fish. Truly great times! Here's a few pics of their most memorable hauls. This thread really was a nice trip down memory lane for me! Thanks!

Took the CEO of what was then White Hen Pantry and his wife out for a little coho fun on Michigan.

Nice largemouth out of a southern Illinois farm pond.

Do you have any trees that extend out over the water? If so, buy a few cheap cans of dog food, put a dozen 1/4" holes in them, and hang them out over the water. Flies come in, and they will be dropping maggots into the water for weeks. The brim, bluegill, hybrids, warmouths, little bass, etc will STACK up under the cans. Good time for young kids/grandkids that get bored easily

We just feed them floating catfish food everyday off of that Dock. Catching them is like shooting fish in a bowl.
